What is dormitory room?
Dormitory room is a large sleeping room containing several beds. You only book one (or more) beds in such a room and the other beds are occupied by other travelers. We mostly offer mixed dormitory rooms, what means that both males and females may stay together in one room. Our dormitory rooms come either with a shared bathroom (in the hall, outside the room) or with a private bathroom (bathroom inside the room).
Does every person need to have passport or ID at the check in?
Yes, we need to print out the registration card for every guest over 15 years old , which needs to be signed by every single guest over 15 years old
What is city tax? Do we need to pay it?
It’s an accommodation tax, which we as a hostel need to pay to the government for every stay over. Tax is 1.70 eur per person per night, and is not included in the price of accommodation. Students under 26 years old, youth under 18, elderly over 70 and disabled people are excluded from paying this tax.
Is it possible to pay by card?
Yes, it is possible to pay by card for all our services and goods. However deposits have to be paid by cash, as they will be refunded at the check-out.
Does everyone need to pay the key deposit? Is it refundable?
Key deposit is 10 eur per one key. If you are a group of more people, but you need only 1 room key, the deposit is 10 eur. It is possible to get more room keys if you wish, but we’ll ask you for a deposit of 10 eur per each key. The deposit is fully refundable at the check-out, after you return the key. The proof of paid deposit is your room key and it has to be paid in cash.
At what time is the check-out? Is it possible to pay for the late check-out?
Check-out is at 10 AM. As we need to clean all rooms between the check-out and check-in time, we’d like to ask you to respect this rule. Unfortunately it’s not possible to pay for the late check-out. If you wish to check-out later, we advise you to book another night in your room.
Can we leave our luggage in the luggage room before the check-in and after the check-out?
Yes you can, for an unlimited time and free of charge.
Is it safe to store valuable in the luggage room or room lockers?
No, it’s not. If you have any valuables (cash, jewels, important documents, electronic) we advise you to store it in the safe box at the reception. It’s available 24/7 and is free of charge.
Is Wi-Fi accessible in whole building?
Yes, it is. You’ll find the Wi-Fi password on you check-in information card. You can also find it on the information table next to the reception.
Is breakfast available?
Unfortunately we don’t serve proper breakfasts, we only sell breakfast snack-packs (croissant, musli bar, apple, juice). You can buy breakfast snack-pack at the reception for 2.5 eur and it’s available all day long.
Is it possible to buy any snacks at the reception?
Yes, you can buy snacks, soft drinks, can beer and basic hygiene products at our reception 24/7. Our bar is currently open on Fridays and Saturdays from 17:00 to 00:00.
How can we use washing machine? Do we pay for it?
Self-service laundry is available 24/7 for no extra charge. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in our laundry room, unfortunately it’s not possible to reserve one for a specific time. You can either use your own washing powder, or buy one at the reception (1.50 eur per one washing).
When can I use kitchen?
Kitchen is located on the ground floor and is available 24/7. Please respect quiet hours from 22:00 to 6:00.
Is it allowed to stay with pets?
No, unfortunately it’s not permitted to stay with animals.
Are extra beds available?
Yes, extra beds are available for 10 eur per night. It is possible to use 1 extra bed per each private room. In case you have booked whole dormitory room, you can ask for an extra bed. In case that there are more solo travelers in one dormitory room, extra-beds are not permitted. Extra bed has to be booked in advance, otherwise we can’t guarantee you that it will be available.
